Pillow Talk

Setting: Master bedroom, 7am. Children piled into parent's bed, everyone snuggling.

She: I can't believe that we made these little people!

B: No, God made us.

She: Your dad and I had something to do with it, too.

He: Well, it is a little bit of both.

B: God is dead. Didn't God die?

(Mom thinking of something clever to say)

He: That is what CNN would have you believe.

SO FUNNY!

And Fox news would have you believe God is alive and well, only loves upper middle class white Americans, and Barack Obama is the anti-Christ. Thank God I don't fall for any of that crap :)

The deleted comment was mine. I just couldn't figure out what to say.

Wow, Heather. Does the ":)" at the end mean your just playing? Seems a tad violent to me. Maybe explaination is needed.

Setting: Me, 3:45 am, Cheerios and flipping between CNN and FOX News, getting ready to make a differance at Palo Verde.

CNN: Less Americans are religious (by percentage) - God is dead.

FOX: More Americans are religious (by number) - God is alive.

Andrew: Interesting use of statistics.

Then, Brody's comment leads Andrew to an excellent opportunity to take advantage of his "superior intellect" (Three Amigos reference)

I'm a crass person, what can I say. No class in the Ballard camp (must be because I watch CNN, actually I think they're crap too, which is why NPR and BBC are my news outlets of choice). Danny's reply was, "Fox news says God is alive and he was in the White House for the past 8 years :)"

OK, I realize that I have had 2 hours of sleep in the past 48. I will reserve all future postings on this site to nice comments about the cuteness of the story and not the political undertones :) (the smiley face means that I love you :)

Oh please. God wasn't in the white house for the past 8 years. he has more important things to do then watch americans destroy the country that he helped create. Very funny story by the way. I think it is funny when my kids are found watching the news. Happy Easter by they way. (which celebrates God still being alive)
