We decided to stick around our neighborhood this year for trick or treating. My parents were out of town, so we didn't feel the need to go over there and deal with the masses. (By the way, someone counted and they got over 1000 trick or treaters! Insane, really). Prince Charming missed out on the actual trick or treating, but was able to get home in time to enjoy their sugar high.
This year B chose to be Batman and E (who didn't really choose because he couldn't make up his mind) was Buzz Lightyear. Unfortunately, E smashed his thumb in his door about 5 minutes before he got ready. So, he was cranky and refused to wear the gloves and the adorable hat/helmet. B on the other hand was thrilled to wear every bit of his costume.
Aunt J came over to help hand out candy while I took the boys up and down the street. Amma Gramma stopped by too. While we were trick or treating, E kept referring to B as, "my brother, Batman." I loved how he got into character. So cute.

When we got home we emptied the bags and dug in. We have enough candy to last us for a few months! In fact, I even started handing out the candy that I knew they wouldn't eat to the kids that came to our door. Is that re-gifting?

Love the costumes! especially the washboard abs. And the dog waiting for handouts is awesome.
