It's Broken

Well, the Pediatric Orthopedic doctor confirmed her little wrist fracture.  I was secretly hoping that she wouldn't have to be in a cast since she has a "stable fracture."  However, since she is not a steady walker and her risk of falling is high, she got a pretty pink cast to wear.  When they were putting it on I had the option of either having her elbow tied up or her thumb tied up.  Both are crummy, but I figured that having her elbow in a cast would make it difficult for her to crawl.  Her brothers often comment on her permanent "thumbs up" situation.

The good news is that she only has to wear it for three weeks and it hasn't slowed her down one bit.  The bad news is that bath time is becoming a bear and the "finger jam" she gets on her cast hand is starting to gross me out.
