I have a couple of questions for the mothers of boys out there. Especially those that have more than one son. When does the potty talk end? Never? If it never ends, then I might as well resign myself to that fact and start to enjoy little gems like this:
E toots right next to me and then says, "Mom, you stay there and enjoy that." Seriously, where does he come up with this stuff? He is five.
Also, weapons. Anything and everything turns into a gun or sword in this house. Why? What is this fascination with weapons? My husband and I don't wield around guns, or duel each other nightly with swords. Even before they were exposed to video games, they made weapons to play with. Are boys born with this knowledge? What I am more interested in learning is how to curb this fascination. I am ready for them to move on.
I think this is the only time this child was not interested in shooting me with his finger gun.
