The other morning, I came out to the living room to find B frantically looking for one of his "shows" on the DVR. "Where did my Star Wars show (that I have already watched a million times) go?" I told him that I had to delete it to make sure that my shows were able to record.
He told me that I have too many shows and I should delete some of mine. My initial response was that it is my TV and I pay the bills. When he has his own, he can make the decision.
On the other hand, how many shows do I really need? I like TV. I do. I think the answer is, enough shows so that I don't have to watch any live TV. Watching something live is so 2003.
So, sorry kid. Until next summer, I rule the DVR. If you are lucky, I will keep taping Phineas and Ferb. And that is only because I think that show is hilarious.
