This time of year always has me baffled at how I should dress my children for school. Last week is a prime example. In the morning, it was chilly. It was chilly enough for pants and a hoodie.
However, I knew that by recess it would be warm. Knowing that the day's high will be in the 80s makes it hard for me to send the kids to school in pants.
Bottom line, the transition between warm and cool is always tricky. Now that I think about it, transition time requires two outfits. One for the first part of the day and one for the second.
Perhaps there could be a period reserved specifically for the wardrobe change. Well, then I would have to shove even more stuff in their backpack! Nevermind. Bad idea. I guess it just needs to hurry up and get cold.
